Settings
Settings is where an owner names the account, chooses whether sent campaigns are published and whether opens and clicks are counted, and sets the hours flow emails go out. Every person on the account also uses it to change their own name and password, and to see and sign out the devices they are signed in on.
What is on the screen
Settings has two cards. Account holds everything that belongs to the whole account, and only an owner can change it. You holds your own name, your password and a link to your signed-in devices, and everyone can use those, whatever their role.

- Publishes each sent campaign to your public archive.
- Counts opens and clicks.
- The time zone and the hours flow emails go out in.
Each row saves on its own, with its own Save button, so changing the archive does not save a half-typed account name. The time zone and the sending hours are one row and share one Save.
Account name
Account name is what appears in the sidebar and on your invoices. Type a new name and choose Save account name. Only an owner can change it.
Postal address
Postal address goes at the foot of every campaign and flow email, under your account name, in one line. US law expects marketing email to carry the sender's postal address, so add yours before you send a campaign. Email your app sends does not carry it. Only an owner can change it; clear the box and save to remove it.
Public archive
The archive is a public page of the campaigns you have sent, so anyone can read them without being on your list. It is on for a new account. The checkbox Publish sent campaigns to a public archive turns it off, and Save keeps your choice.
The setting is copied into each campaign when you create the campaign. Each campaign then keeps its own checkbox, Publish this issue to your public archive, so changing the account's setting later does not change campaigns that already exist. Turning the archive back on does not tick the box on old ones either.
Turning the archive off hides the archive's front page and its feed, which lets a news reader app follow new issues. It does not take down an issue that was already sent: that issue's page keeps working, because its address is inside emails already in people's inboxes. Until a campaign that is published to the archive has started sending, the archive's front page and feed do not exist, so an account that has published nothing does not show up there. See Campaigns for what the archive shows.
While the archive is on, Settings shows its address under the checkbox, so you can link to it from your site. Until a campaign published to it starts sending, the address is shown without a link, because nothing answers there yet.
Opens and clicks
Counting opens and clicks is off for a new account. An owner ticks Count opens and clicks in marketing campaigns and chooses Save to turn it on.
The label says marketing campaigns, and flow emails are counted too. Transactional email, the kind you send from your own app, never is. Turning counting off does not reach emails already in inboxes, because they carry their links with them. Opens and clicks explains what is counted and what is not, and the lawful basis you may need before you turn it on.
Time zone and sending hours
The time zone and the sending hours apply to flows only. A campaign goes out when you press Send, whatever the hours say.
Flow emails go out between the two times in Send flow email between, on the clock of the account's Time zone. A new account starts at 08:00 to 20:00 in UTC, and both of those times count as inside the hours. A step that comes due outside them waits until they open. Set both times the same to send at any hour. A step that is already scheduled keeps its time unless the new hours rule it out, and then it waits for the next opening.
If the first time is later than the second, the hours run overnight. Hours of 22:00 to 06:00 start at 22:00 and end at 06:00 the next morning, and Settings spells that out under the boxes.
The time zone also decides which calendar day it is for a flow that starts from a date, such as a birthday. A single flow can use hours of its own, and they are still read in the account's time zone. See Flows.
Changing the time zone does not change how times are shown in the dashboard. Those stay in UTC.
You

- Your name, as your colleagues see it on the team page.
- Change your password here.
The card starts with the email address you are signed in as. You cannot change your email here. Your name is how your colleagues see you on the team page. Type a new name and choose Save your name. A name cannot be blank.
To change your password, enter your current password, then the new one twice, and choose Change password. A new password needs at least 8 characters. Changing it signs you out of your other devices, and you stay signed in on the one you are using.
Under Devices, Signed-in devices lists every browser you are signed in on, with the address it was last used from and when. To sign one out, choose Sign out on its row, enter your current password and choose Sign out this device. Sign out every other device signs out all of them except the one you are using, and also asks you to enter your current password. If you see a device you do not recognize, sign it out and change your password.
A device is signed out after 14 days without use, and every device has to sign in again 90 days after you signed in on it.
If you forget your password, choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page and enter your email address. Wakio emails a reset link if that address has an account, and shows the same message either way. The link works for 15 minutes. Setting a new password through it signs you out everywhere, so sign in again with the new one.
Who can do what
- Owners can change everything in the Account card.
- Admins and members see the account's name, whether the public archive is on or off, and whether counting opens and clicks is on or off, as plain sentences. An owner can change those. They see nothing about the time zone or the sending hours.
- Everyone can change their own name and password in the You card.
Good to know
- Three of the buttons in the Account card read just Save. Each one saves only the row it sits in.
